WPFB (AM) is a commmercial AM station in Middletown,Ohio at 910 kHz. It opeartes with a daytime power of 1,000 watts and a nighttime power of 100 watts. It's current format is classic country and is co-owned with WPFB-FM "The Rebel" by WPAY-WPFB Inc.
History
WPFB first signed on in 1947 as a daytime-only station but a few months later received a permission from the FCC to also broadcast in the evening. Throughout much of its history, WPFB had several format switches from middle of the road,country music,adult standards to talk radio and now Classic country. The station also owns WPAY AM & FM in Portsmouth,Ohio.See also
