Santina Marissa Ribisi (born December 17, 1974) is an American actress, perhaps best known as Cynthia Dunn in the cult favorite Dazed and Confused.
Ribisi was born in Los Angeles, California, her mother, Gay, is a manager for actors and writers. Ribisi has acted since the age of 9. [1] Her twin brother, Giovanni Ribisi, is also an actor.
Ribisi wrote and acted in the film Some Girl in 1998, and has had roles in the films True Crime, The Brady Bunch Movie, Pleasantville (film), and Don's Plum. She has also appeared in television shows such as Felicity, Friends, Grace Under Fire and Watching Ellie, and the mini-series Tales of the City (miniseries).
She married the musician Beck in April 2004, shortly before giving birth to their son, Cosimo Henri. The couple's second child was born in 2007. [2]
She is a Scientologist.
