Julie Williams, R.N. was a fictional character in the short-lived mid-1980's sitcom E/R. She was played by actress Lynne Moody.
She was extremely industrious, and very hard-working, but wasn't immune from the strictness of her hard-driving boss, Eve Sheridan who almost fired her on Christmas Eve. However, she felt she should come back, due to a guilty conscience, and en route back to the hospital, accidentally twists her ankle. Eve apparently decided that all was forgiven, for she never mentioned the incident again. They discussed it before she went on shift the next day, and it was, supposedly, settled amicably. Despite her strictness, Eve and Julie were friends.
Julie was very close friends with Filipino American receptionist Maria Amardo and to help save money and expenses, the two rented an apartment together.

The Jefferson's perky niece
The perky Julie was the able assistant to head nurse, Joan Thor. She was also the niece of George Jefferson and his wife, Louise.
