Information about Insular Italy

Insular Italy includes two major islands (Sicily and Sardinia) plus a great number of archipelagoes and minor islands owning to other regions. The two major islands are also two of Italy's autonomous regions and both benefit of a "special statute regions" status. Sicily and Sardinia are also sometimes classified as southern regions.
