Information about Humpy Bong
Humpy Bong was an early 1970s ephemeral band that sold no records. Tim Staffell joined after leaving Smile, a band he co-created with Brian May, and was replaced by Freddie Mercury, an acquaintance of Staffell. Smile then became no more, and Queen was born. Humpy Bong, going nowhere, went downhill, with the entire band eventually breaking up.
Brian Harold May CBE (born July 19, 1947) is a British musician best known as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the British rock band Queen.
