Information about Equatorium
An Equatorium (plural: Equatoria) was a medieval astrometic analog computer device used by astronomers and astrologers. It was invented in al-Andalus in early 11th century al-Andalus.[1]
It is a mechanical device for finding the positions of the Moon, Sun, and planets without calculation, using a geometrical model to represent the celestial body's mean and anomalistic position.
