1While the Czech language isn't codified as the official language, it is required by law in some situations and is spoken by great majority of Czech population. Polish language is officially recognized as a minority language in the region with significant Polish minority population (The Teschen or Těšín region). Slovak is de jure recognized as an alternative to Czech without the need of translation in the whole territory of the Czech Republic.
