Information about Clifford Stein

Clifford Stein is a computer scientist, currently working as a professor at Columbia University in New York, NY. He earned his BSE from Princeton University in 1987, a MS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1989, and a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992.

He co-wrote the second edition of Introduction to Algorithms together with Charles E. Leiserson, Ronald Rivest and Thomas H. Cormen (published in 2001) and is currently active as a teacher at Columbia.

He previously taught at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
