The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) (Simplified Chinese: 中国证券监督管理委员会; Pinyin: Zhōngguó Zhèngquàn Jiāndū Guǎnlǐ Wěiyuánhuì) is an institution of the State Council of the People's Republic of China (PRC). It is the main security (finance) regulator of the PRC.
Its functions are similar to that of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the United States.
