History
In the first five years of the People's Republic (1949 to 1954), "Central People's Government" was the body with supreme power in the state. It was then comprised of- State Council (國務院)
- People's Revolutionary Military Committee (人民革命軍事委員會)
- Supreme People's Court (最高人民法院)
- Supreme People's Procuratorate (最高人民檢察署)
