Information about Anti Spam Research Group
The Anti-Spam Research Group (ASRG) is a research group within the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF) dedicated to research into curbing spam on an Internet-wide level. It consists of a set of mailing lists to coordinate work and a small web site.
As with other IRTF groups, the ASRG is expected to contribute to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) process by contributing drafts, documents and assists in creation of new working groups. So far, only one IETF group has been spun off from the ASRG – MARID.
The ASRG is sporadically active, with most activity happening on the mailing lists and subgroup lists.
