Adelaide Horton Olson Williams (February 25, 1931-1974) is a fictional character on the television soap opera Days of our Lives. The role has been portrayed by actresses Patricia Huston (1965 to 1966) and Patricia Barry from 1971 to 1974.

Character history

Addie was married to Ben Olsen and had two children, Steve and Julie Williams. Since Addie married into wealth and status, she tended to look down on the rest of her siblings. It was soon found out that Addie had leukemia. She bore a child named Hope, with her husband, Doug Williams, while she was in a coma and near death from cancer. Addie managed to fully recover from cancer. However, she died soon after because of an on-coming truck. She died as she was pushing her child's stroller to safety.
