The worrying about a decision ends up paralysing you and you make no decision; and sometimes making no decision is worse than making the wrong decision.It has been said that the character of a leader is not based solely on his or her accomplishments but also on how he or she responds to challenges.For new leaders there are very few easy-to-use instructional guides that demonstrate how to make consistently good decisions. A lot of models focus on external events and don’t take into account the speed necessary to consider the facts, the situational and organizational needs, as well as the leader’s values.While we shouldn’t needlessly flatter we must make it a goal to encourage.
