Over the past 40 or 50 years MLMs have come and gone. Some MLM’s have had great longevity but many others have disappeared without even being noticed. If the MLM you are looking at has 6 key elements you can bet it is poised for longevity.
1- Good stand alone businessM 2- Good Training 3- Good Products 4- Large underserved Market 5- Tools 6- Management Team

Being a good stand alone business means can a person who doesn’t want to build a team make money. Can someone who just wants to sell the product or service make a good part or full time income? Does the company actually encourage people to be stand alone producer first and team builder second? Financial services like Mortgages, Life or Health insurance might fit well in this category.

3 – Good Products
Does the company offer products and services that people want and need? Are the products priced competitively? Do they offer free sales aides?
4 – Large underserved Market
How big is the Market? What percentage of the market currently has the product or service? What percent of the market still needs this product or service? Is this a growing market?
5 – Tools?
What tools are provided by the company? Do they offer a sales web site? Do they offer a team building website? Do they have a lead generation system?
6 Management Team What is the combined experience of the management team? Have they run other successful companies? Have they worked in this industry?
