As the minds whiz into action in our Online Think Tank often we are amazed at what can be accomplished although many wish to come in and set standards, rules and limits on conversations and thoughts. Yet in doing this, the project turns into a committee and not an actual Online Think Tank. It is always the lawyer type coming in and setting definitions and concerned about time spent and things achieved in the Think Tank.
Most think tank members just enjoy the robust conversation and could care less if it takes all night to complete, they are their for the excitement. Project management Teams are who we hand off our ideas and concepts too. Hey you guys go build this. But please do not disrupt our flow of thought and creativity here. This is not a Committee; it is an Online Think Tank. You want to join a darn committee, go down and volunteer for something in and have at it. We are changing the world not turning into a bureaucracy here.
Have you ever noticed how long it takes the mini-collectives "committees" to get anything done? Putting hours of their collective time and jotting them into minutes, when the world is moving at the Speed of Thought in break neck speed of seconds? Oh and this brings up a serious point-How much content on this line of thought are looking for.
We could go on with this for 40 hours easy and really why choose either when you can have both? The individual is of value to the whole and the individual should know that he gets more when the whole is efficient and filled with other happiness pursuing individuals. You take away either and you have so little. I hope you this article has propelled thought in 2007.
