Many Iraqis in Saddam’s army were killed in the war. Many more in the first Gulf War. It was not a fair fight, as these people were slaughtered trying to defeat coalition forces. Many say war is bad and that this level of carnage is unacceptable, yet in reality, it was Saddam who sent them to their fiery death and into battle, not the coalition forces.
One political activist and ignorant blogger states; “Do you ignore them because they are Iraqis? Do you understand the term "racism"..heck..do you know what a dictionary is?”
Of course myself well I do not take kindly to such accusations that I am a racist and such. So I stated; “Well, there you go demeaning my character again.”
You see these soldiers declared themselves enemies and showed up with tanks, machine guns, surface to air missiles, RPGs to fight. It is not racism to attack an enemy who threatens you, kills their own (Kurds) and shows up to fight and kill you.
We must be extremely careful when listening to the rhetoric coming out of the mouths who support the mission of Saddam and what he stood for. The United States of America under the leadership of George W. Bush and with the help of coalition forces removed Saddam Hussein from power for failing to keep up his end of the bargain and maintaining the rules set by the UN resolutions, which began directly after Gulf War I. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Consider this in 2006.
